What is TAJDEED certification?

TAJDEED certification is an official verification process where used phones undergo 60+ diagnostic tests to confirm their condition and functionality. Based on results, phones receive Gold or Silver certification with corresponding warranty coverage.

How long does the diagnostic process take?

The complete diagnostic process typically takes 1 to 2 minutes. Our certified technicians test all hardware components, software functionality, battery health, and cosmetic condition.

Who performs the tests?

Accepted Answer

Only shops approved as TAJDEED partners. They alone hold the diagnostic tool and technicians trained to use it. A certification carried out anywhere else does not exist in our system.

Can the seller influence the result?

Accepted Answer

No. The technician starts the diagnostic, but enters no result by hand and does not choose the grade. Every value is read straight from the device, and the grade is computed by the system from that data.

Can the tests erase my data?

Accepted Answer

No. The diagnostic is read-only: it inspects the device without modifying anything. The single exception is the storage speed test, which writes a 10 MB temporary file and then deletes it. Your photos, contacts and apps are never touched.

What is the difference between Gold and Silver?

Both grades pass exactly the same tests. What separates them is battery health: Gold from 85% upwards, Silver just below. Gold carries a 24-month warranty, Silver 12 months.

Why does the battery decide the grade?

Because a certified phone has already passed the full test suite: everything else works. The battery is the only component that wears in a measurable, continuous way, so it is the only measure that usefully separates two devices in good condition.

What happens if the phone fails?

It is not certified, and no certificate is issued. Below the Silver threshold, or on failure of a critical test such as system integrity, the device cannot be sold as TAJDEED certified.

What does the warranty cover?

TAJDEED warranty covers hardware defects and functionality issues identified during the initial diagnostic. It does not cover physical damage.

When does the warranty start?

On the purchase date, not the certification date. A phone certified two months ago and bought today gives you the full duration starting today.

Where can I claim the warranty?

At any TAJDEED-approved partner shop, anywhere in the country. You are not tied to the shop that sold you the device: the network covers all 69 wilayas.

What happens if I have a warranty claim?

Contact the shop where you purchased the phone or submit a claim through our Claim Tracker. We'll assign a certified repair shop to resolve the issue at no cost to you.

Can I verify a certificate before buying?

Yes. Every TAJDEED certificate has a unique ID that you can verify on our website. Enter the certificate ID or scan the QR code to see the full diagnostic report and warranty status before you pay.

Can the certificate be modified?

Accepted Answer

No. Once issued, a certificate is frozen: neither the shop, nor the seller, nor TAJDEED can change its results. Any attempt at alteration is detectable at verification.

What is not tested automatically?

Anything requiring human judgement: speaker sound quality, photo sharpness, dead pixels and touch feel. The diagnostic verifies these components are present and recognised by the device, but their output is judged by eye in store. We would rather say so than let you assume otherwise.

How do you know it is not locked to someone else's account?

The diagnostic reads the FRP lock state, the protection that blocks a device still tied to its previous owner's Google account. A phone that is still locked does not pass certification.
